Fast Least-Squares Reverse Time Migration of OBN Down-Going Multiples

چکیده

Nowadays the ocean bottom node (OBN) acquisition is widely used in oil and gas resource exploration seismic monitoring. Conventional imaging algorithms of OBN data mainly focus on processing up-going primaries down-going first-order multiples. Up-going multiples higher-order are generally regarded as noise should be eliminated or ignored conventional migration methods. However, carry abundant information about subsurface structures where cannot achieve. To take full advantage multiples, we propose a method using all-order And then least-squares optimization algorithm to suppress crosstalks. Finally, phase-encoding-based developed cut down computational cost by blending several common receiver gathers together random time delays polarity reversals. Numerical experiments complex Marmousi model illustrate that approach can enlarge area evidently, reduce effectively, enhance image quality suppressing crosstalks improving resolution.

Elastic least-squares reverse time migration

Least-squares migration (LSM) can produce images with improved resolution and reduced migration artifacts. We propose a method for elastic least-squares reverse time migration (LSRTM) based on different types of imaging condition. Perturbation imaging condition leads to images for squared P and S velocity models; the displacement imaging condition crosscorrelates components of the source and re...

Elastic least-squares reverse time migration using the energy norm

We derive linearized modeling and migration operators based on the energy norm for elastic wavefields in arbitrary anisotropic media. We use these operators to perform anisotropic least-squares reverse time migration (LSRTM) and generate a scalar image that represents subsurface reflectivity without costly decomposition of wave modes. Imaging operators based on the energy norm have the advantag...

Elastic reverse-time migration with OBS multiples

Receiver-side water-column multiples acquired with ocean-bottom seismic sensors can be used for elastic imaging of the subsurface, which can provide additional information relative to more conventional acoustic imaging. In this paper, we generalize the procedures for elastic migration using water-column multiples. We first separate receiver-side water-column multiples from primaries in recorded...

Fast least squares migration with a deblurring filter

Least squares migration (LSM) is a linearized waveform inversion for estimating a subsurface reflectivity model that, relative to conventional migration, offers improved spatial resolution of migration images. The cost, however, is that LSM typically requires 10 or more iterations, which is about 20 times or more the CPU cost of conventional migration. To alleviate this expense, I present a deb...

Multisource Least-squares Extended Reverse-time Migration with Preconditioning Guided Gradient Method

Least-squares reverse-time migration (LSRTM) provides image of reflectivity with high resolution and compensated amplitude, but the computational cost is extremely high. One way to improve efficiency is to encode all of shot gathers into one or several super-shot gathers with designed encoding functions so as to solve a smaller number of wave-equations at each iteration. Another way is to use d...
